West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure about 100 nm NE of
Cape Hatteras continues to strengthen with winds and seas likely
increasing near the low and over the gulf stream area tonight.
Improving conditions will gradually develop Mon as the low passes
N of the waters early Mon. A trailing cold front will move from
the inner to the outer waters later tonight into Mon. Another
cold front will approach the region from the NW tonight into Mon,
gradually push E and SE across the waters Mon night into Tue
night, then stall across the S portions Wed into Fri night. High
pressure will build SE behind the front across the waters Tue
into Thu, then shift E of the area Thu night into Fri. Another
cold front will approach from the NW Fri and Fri night. Mariners
should use caution for locally very gusty winds and very rough
seas in and near tstms across many parts of the offshore waters
tonight and Mon.
