.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure centered just W of
Bermuda will remain nearly stationary tonight through Sat while
maintaining a ridge across the southern waters. The ridge will
shift S and SE of the area Sat night and Sun. Meanwhile, a cold
front moving S over the northern waters this evening, then will
stall off Currituck Beach Light tonight before lifting back N as
a warm front Sat through Sat night. Another cold front will move
SE into the northern waters Sun into Sun night, then will slow
and stall late Sun night, Mon and Mon night, extending from SW to
NE across the area. A series of low pressure centers will track
NE along the stalled front during this time frame. The front will
finally move E of the waters Tue. A secondary cold front will
move E across the N waters Tue and Tue night, while high pressure
builds E to the coast. The high will cross the waters Wed and Wed
night as low pressure develops S and SE of the area.
