beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure over the far NE
waters this evening will track NE of the area tonight while
pulling a cold front SE over the waters. The front will then
continue moving slowly S across the area Sun into Sun night. High
pressure will build E over the N waters Sun, then pass E of the
region Sun night as a cold front crosses the N portion. Another
high will build SE over the region late Mon into Tue, then pass E
of the area later Tue into Tue night. A warm front will lift NE
over the waters Tue and Tue night, before another cold front
moves into the area Wed into Thu night.
