West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Strengthening low pressure
centered near 39N70W will continue moving NE and clear well N of
the area tonight, while its associated cold front stalls over the
central portion. A weak low will move E along the stalled
boundary later tonight into Sun night. The front will drift N as
a warm front Sun night as another low develops along the Mid-
Atlantic coast. This next low will track E and NE over the far NW
waters Mon before weakening NE of the area Mon night. Mariners
should use caution for locally gusty winds and rough seas in and
near scattered to numerous thunderstorms likely over parts of the
area into early next week. Yet another low will approach the NW
waters early Tue, and pass N and then NE of the area late Tue
into Tue night while pulling a cold front offshore. The cold
front will stall across the central waters Wed and Wed night,
then dissipate Thu. Another cold front will approach from the NW
Thu night. Chesapeake NAVTEX is degraded. Technicians are aware.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
