West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A front will be nearly stationary
over and near the E waters today as weak low pressure centers
move NE along the front. Meanwhile, high pressure will be located
over the NW waters. The front should move slightly N as a warm
front tonight and Fri as a cold front approaches the waters from
the W. The slow-moving cold front weakens as it moves E into the
waters Fri and Fri night, with the warm front passing off to the
NE. Another, stronger cold front approaches the N waters from the
W Sat, moves into the N and central waters Sat night and early
Sun, and finally reaches the S waters late Sun and Sun night. The
front will then become nearly stationary from SW to NE across the
area for Mon and Mon night with weak low pressure centers moving
NE along the front. High pressure builds into the NW waters
behind the front.
