beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure across the N and
central waters will shift NE and dissipate early tonight. A
strong cold front will sweep E across the waters late tonight
through Mon night. Low pressure will develop along the front over
the S waters Mon, then move E of the area by late Mon night. High
pressure will build E across the area behind the cold front Tue,
then shift E Tue night. A warm front will clip the N waters Tue
night as it lifts NE away from the area. Another strong cold
front will approach the coast Wed, move across the waters Wed
night, then clear E of the area Thu. High pressure will quickly
move across the area late Thu into early Fri, followed by a
secondary cold front moving over the region Fri into Fri night.
