West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...As high pressure remains over the
S waters, a weak cold front or surface trough will approach the
New England coast later today and tonight and weaken as it moves
into and across the N waters Wed and Wed night. Another cold
front will approach the New England coast from the NW Thu and
move SE across the N waters Thu night and Fri, becoming nearly
stationary off of the mid-Atlantic coast Fri night through Sat
night. Weak low pressure may form off of the southeast U.S. coast
Fri, currently expected to drift W late in the week and for the
start of the weekend.
