West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure just S of Georges
Bank will remain nearly stationary over the far northern waters
through Fri with a stationary front extending E from the low. The
low will occlude tonight as a second low forms to the NE, E of
Georges Bank. The occluded low will then drift slowly SE across
the Outer Mid- Atlantic Waters Fri night through Sun night. A
weak cold front extending S from the low will slowly move SE
across the central waters tonight through Sat as the low
occludes. A high pressure ridge will gradually build S into the
northern and central waters Mon and Mon night, then extend into
the southern waters Tue and Tue night.
