beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Tropical Depression Three,
centered near 30.8N 78.6W at 5 AM EDT, will move to 31.5N 78.8W
by 2 PM EDT today while intensifying into a tropical storm, then
to 32.6N 79.2W by 2 AM EDT Sun, then to 33.7N 79.4W by 2 PM EDT
Sun, then continue moving inland over South and North Carolina
later Sun into Mon while weakening to a post-tropical cyclone.
Please monitor the latest information from the National Hurricane
Center. Otherwise, a stationary front over the central waters
today will move N as a weak warm front later today as high
pressure builds over the N and central waters. The high will
persist over the N and central waters through Wed night.
