New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure will gradually
build SE across the region today, then shift SE of the area
tonight into Sun. A cold front will slowly move S across the
waters Sun night into Mon, then pass S of the area late Mon and
Mon night as high pressure builds S across the region. The high
will remain over the area Tue, then shift E of the area Tue night
through Wed night. Hurricane Erin will move N then NE well S and
SE of the waters Wed into Wed night. Long period SE to S swell
from Hurricane Erin will move into the region Mon and Mon night,
and continue through Wed night. For more information on Hurricane
