Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Weak low pressure developing over the Gulf of Maine late this morning will move off to the E of the area later today and tonight. A weak cold front extending SW from the low will move SE over the area behind the low today into early tonight, and then become nearly stationary over the S waters later tonight. The front should slowly dissipate Mon as high pressure builds in. The high will move E Mon night and Tue ahead of a slow-moving cold front. The front will likely reach the coast Tue night, and then weaken as it drifts offshore Tue night and Wed. Another slow-moving cold front will approach the coast Wed night into Thu, and finally push offshore Thu night. Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line .TODAY...W winds less than 10 kt, becoming W to SW.
