New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak cold front moving
quickly S across the region this morning will dissipate today.
Low pressure will track E across the outer mid-Atlantic waters
today and tonight, remaining just S of the area. High pressure
will build NW and N of the waters today, then shift NE of the
region tonight. Another developing low and warm front will move
NE across the waters Thu. The low will pull a strong cold front
SE across the region late Thu, then will pass NE and E of the
area Thu night as strong NW winds persist over the waters into
Fri night. High pressure will build E over the region Fri night
and Sat, then shift SE of the area Sat night. A warm front will
lift N across the waters Sun with a strong associated area of low
pressure moving NE through New England. The strengthening low
will track NE Sun night, reaching the Gulf of Saint Lawrence late
Sun night, while pulling yet another strong cold front across the
waters.
