New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...With a trough over the waters
today, a cold front inland over the New England and the northern
mid-Atlantic states will gradually move E and SE to near or just
off of the coast tonight into Thu, reach the outer waters well
off of the coast Thu night, and pass E and S of the region Fri.
High pressure will build over western New England Fri into Fri
night as a low pressure trough lingers over the waters behind the
front. The front will stall S of the area Sat as high pressure
slides E over the far southern waters. The high will pass E and
SE of the waters Sat night into Sun night with the front S of the
area returning N as a weak warm front, and a surface trough
beginning to strengthen near the coast.
