A warm front across the northern Gulf of Maine will lift northward and move inland this afternoon. A cold front will approach the coast this afternoon and move E across the waters tonight while the attendant low pressure approaches the coast. The low will track slowly E near the Maine coast Sun and Sun night. High pressure will move offshore near the Virginia Capes late Mon, extending a ridge N across the waters into Tue. It will then move E of the region later Tue and Tue night as another cold front approaches from the W. The front will cross the waters Wed, then clear the area to the S and E Wed night.
