Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS... A high pressure ridge will weaken and gradually shift E of the waters today into tonight. A warm front will slowly lift NE across the waters today and tonight while weakening. Another warm front will extend E over the area Fri, then drift N across the waters Fri night. Yet another warm front will lift N and NE over the area Sat into Sat night. An associated low pressure area will move offshore Sat night into Sun while pulling a cold front across the region. The front will pass E of the area Sun night into Mon night as a series of secondary cold fronts or low pressure troughs move SE over the waters.
