offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong low pressure near Long
Island Sound will drift W today while the associated occluded
front extending E and SE from the low moves N across the waters.
The low will turn back E and exit the New Jersey coast tonight as
a new low develops SE of Georges Bank. The new low will move N
and intensify E of the Gulf of Maine on Sat. It will then stall
over the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and gradually weaken Sat night
through Sun night. A weak ridge will form over the waters late
Mon. The ridge will shift E Mon night into Tue as a warm front
moves E across the waters, followed by developing low pressure
and a cold front Tue night.
