New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...The center of Hurricane Erin
will track NE along outer Mid-Atlantic waters late tonight into
early Fri. Erin will then move farther away from the area over
the N Atlantic late Fri into Sat night. Long period S swell from
Hurricane Erin will continue tonight before backing to the SE and
E by later Fri and Fri night. A high pressure ridge will move E
across the waters Fri night and Sat, then shift E of the area Sat
night into Sun. A cold front will gradually approach the waters
from the W late Sun night, then move E across the area Mon and
Mon night as developing low pressure tracks NE along the front.
Another cold front will move over the region Tue and Tue night.
