The parent low off the SE coast will move E-NE through early Tue, while the secondary low about 150 nm E of the Virginia Capes will drift toward the coast through Tue. By Tue night, the northern low will become absorbed or dissipate and the southern low will finally move E of the waters Tue night into Wed. Mariners should continue to monitor later forecasts on this coastal system as it will be highly impactful to the mariner through the middle of the week. High pressure will build S into the eastern U.S. Wed through Thu, maintaining a strong pressure gradient across the waters, then persist through Fri night. A new area of low pressure will likely form just E of the outer Mid-Atlantic waters Thu and quickly move farther E and SE into the Atlantic by Fri night.
