New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Weak low pressure will move E
across the Gulf of Maine tonight and Fri. A weak cold front will
approach the waters from the N Fri, then stall along the coast
late Fri into Fri night as a low pressure system approaches from
the S. The low will move NE across the waters late Sat into Sat
night. High pressure will build over the region Sun, then shift E
of the area Sun night. A warm front will lift N over the area Mon
as the associated low center tracks along the southern boundary
of the waters. The low will move E of the region Mon night while
another warm front approaches the area from the S. The warm front
will lift N over the waters Tue as the associated low center
tracks NE along the New England coast. The front will move N of
the region Tue night as a cold front moves into the Gulf of
Maine.

then, becoming variable. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Slight chance of tstms.
.FRI...NE winds less than 10 kt, becoming variable. Seas 3 to
4 ft. Chance of showers and slight chance of tstms with vsby
1 nm or less.
.FRI NIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Areas of
fog, showers and tstms with vsby 1 nm or less.
.SAT...S to SW winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Areas of fog
with vsby 1 nm or less.
.SAT NIGHT...W to NW winds less than 10 kt, becoming N to NW.
Seas 4 to 7 ft.
.SUN...N winds less than 10 kt, becoming variable. Seas 3 to
6 ft.
