New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Weak high pressure will exit
the area tonight as a series of weak lows move NE along a surface
front nearly stationary just SE of the waters. A slow-moving
cold front approaches the coast late tonight, and weakens as it
moves E across the waters Fri and Fri night. A stronger cold
front approaches from the W Sat, moves into the area Sat night,
and finally passes through the area by late Sun night and early
Mon. The front will then become nearly stationary just SE of the
waters Mon night with weak lows moving NE along the front. High
pressure builds into the waters behind the front and persists
through Tue night. The front will slowly drift NW as a warm front
late Tue and Tue night.
