Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...The center of Hurricane Erin will track NE along outer Mid-Atlantic waters this morning. Erin will then move farther away from the area over the N Atlantic late today into Sat night while becoming extratropical sometime Sat. Long period S swell from Hurricane Erin will back to the SE and E by today and tonight. A high pressure ridge will move E across the waters tonight and Sat, then shift E of the area Sat night into Sun. A cold front will gradually approach the waters from the W late Sun night, then move E across the area Mon and Mon night as developing low pressure tracks NE along the front.
