New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...The center of Hurricane Erin
will track NE along outer Mid-Atlantic waters this morning. Erin
will then move farther away from the area over the N Atlantic
late today into Sat night while becoming extratropical sometime
Sat. Long period S swell from Hurricane Erin will back to the SE
and E by today and tonight. A high pressure ridge will move E
across the waters tonight and Sat, then shift E of the area Sat
night into Sun. A cold front will gradually approach the waters
from the W late Sun night, then move E across the area Mon and
Mon night as developing low pressure tracks NE along the front.
Another cold front will move over the region Tue and Tue night.
