New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure just SE of the
area will weaken tonight. A cold front will slowly move S across
the waters tonight into early Mon, then pass S of the area late
Mon and Mon night as high pressure builds S across the region.
The high will remain over the area Tue, then shift E of the area
Tue night through Wed night. Hurricane Erin will move N then NE
while passing to the S and SE of the waters Wed through Thu
night. Erin will move well E of the area Fri as high pressure
builds in across the region and moves SE of the waters by Fri
night. Long period S swell from Hurricane Erin will move into the
region Mon night into Tue, then continue through Thu night before
backing to the SE and E Thu through Fri night. For more
