New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong low pressure over the
southern Gulf of Saint Lawrence this evening will gradually
weaken while moving E overnight into Mon. A forming cold front
will drop S across the far southern waters later tonight. A weak
high pressure ridge will form over the waters Mon, and shift E
Mon night into Tue as a warm front moves E across the waters and
a cold front approaches from the W. The cold front will move E
across the area late Tue into Tue night. A series of low
pressures troughs will move E through the region Wed and Wed
night as high pressure approaches from the SW, and passes just S
of the area. The high will shift E and SE of the area Thu into
Thu night as developing low pressure and an associated warm front
lift N across the waters. The low will pull a strong cold front
across the waters Thu night. A series of secondary cold fronts or
low pressure troughs will move SE over the region Fri into Fri
night as the strong low crosses the Canadian Maritimes.

Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line
