Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure over the N waters will gradually shift NE of the area later tonight. The center of Hurricane Erin is expected to track NE through the outer Mid-Atlantic Waters Thu into Fri, remaining S and then SE of the waters. Erin will then move farther away from the area over the N Atlantic Fri night into Sat. Long period S swell from Hurricane Erin will continue through Thu night before backing to the SE and E Fri night. A high pressure ridge will move E across the waters Fri night and Sat, then shift E of the area Sat night into Sun. A cold front will gradually approach the waters from the W late Sun night, then move E across the area Mon and Mon night.
