Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of America

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...A slow moving cold front extends from Apalachicola
Bay to the western Yucatan Peninsula. Scattered thunderstorms
are along and ahead of this front offshore Florida. Behind the
front, although earlier gales off Veracruz, Mexico, have ended,
strong N winds and rough to very rough seas prevail. The cold
front will move SE into Tue, exiting the basin. Winds and seas
will diminish starting Tue as high pressure builds into the
northern Gulf in the wake of the cold front. A second,
relatively weak cold front, is likely to move through the Gulf
late Thu into Fri.
