from 07N to 19N W of 55W, the N Atlantic from 19N to
31N W of 55W including the Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N W of 55W

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Nadine is inland near 17.4N 89.4W at
5 PM EDT, and is moving west at 11 kt. Maximum sustained winds
are 40 kt with gusts to 50 kt, and the minimum central pressure
is 1004 mb. Nadine will move inland across northern Guatemala
and weaken to a tropical depression near 17.2N 91.3W Sun
morning, then dissipate Sun afternoon. Newly-formed Hurricane
Oscar currently located north of Hispaniola may impact the
Windward Passage and waters adjacent to eastern Cuba early next
week.

at 5 PM EDT, and is moving west at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds
are 75 kt with gusts to 90 kt, and the minimum central pressure
is 987 mb. Oscar will move to 21.2N 72.6W Sun morning, 21.0N
74.1W Sun afternoon, and 20.9N 74.9W Mon morning. Oscar will
weaken to a tropical storm near 21.2N 75.6W Mon afternoon, reach
21.9N 75.3W Tue morning, and 23.3N 74.2W Tue afternoon.
Elsewhere, a nearly stationary front from 31N63W to central Cuba
will drift eastward as a cold front north of 25N through Sun,
then weaken to a trough through the early part of the week.
