.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pressure centered NW of the area will
extend a ridge SE across the N and central waters tonight through
Mon, then gradually weaken through Wed night. A coastal trough
extending along the northern and central California coast will
strengthen tonight, persist through Wed, then become weaker by
Wed night. On Thu and Thu night the coastal trough will dissipate
as a weak cold front moves into the N and central waters. By
later Wed night into Thu night the area of weakening high
pressure will shift further S and pass to the W of the central
and S waters.
