.SYNOPSIS...A tropical wave across the Mona Passage will exit the
area this evening, with lingering showers and thunderstorms
expected this afternoon, mainly across the Caribbean waters. NW
swell from distant extratropical cyclone Erin will build across
the area waters this afternoon through late Sun then begin to
slowly fade into early next week. Central Atlantic high pressure
will build W-SW into the central Bahamas Sun night through mid
week, and bring a return to E trade winds across the area. A
strong tropical wave...AL99...will move quickly westward across
the local area Mon evening through early Tue, accompanied by
strong winds, rough seas, with scattered squalls and
thunderstorms.
