Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...A weak high pressure pattern will support mostly
gentle to moderate winds across much of the basin. A diurnally
induced surface trough will generate fresh to locally strong
winds north and west of the Yucatan peninsula early each
evening. These winds will spread westward away from the Yucatan
at night as the trough migrates into the SW Gulf. Slight to
moderate seas are expected through the forecast period.

.TODAY...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to W after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.WED...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.WED NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU NIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N51W to 26N63W to
31N71W is producing scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms
between Bermuda and Puerto Rico. The front will stall and weaken
into a trough today into tonight. Fresh winds in the vicinity of
the front will diminish today. Otherwise, a weak pressure gradient
will support mainly light to gentle winds, locally moderate,
across much of the area N of 22N through the week and into the
weekend. Moderate to locally fresh easterly winds can be expected
S of 22N.

.TODAY...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.WED...NW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
