Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...Fairly weak high pressure will dominate the basin
through the forecast period, supporting mostly gentle to
moderate winds and slight to moderate seas. Scattered showers
and thunderstorms are expected to increase across the northern
Gulf this weekend as a weak low pressure develops in the
vicinity of SE Louisiana, along a stalling frontal boundary.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft
or less.
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to E after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E after midnight.
Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will dominate the weather pattern through
the period, supporting mostly gentle to moderate winds and slight
to moderate seas over the region N of 25N. The northern portion
of a tropical wave is forecast to bring moderate to fresh east to
southeast winds and seas to 8 ft north of the Leeward Islands
later today through Sat.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less.
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to
