Southeast Gulf of America .SYNOPSIS...An area of broad low pressure, AL93, is centered over the northern Gulf just south of the coast of Mississippi. Some development could occur before the system moves westward into Louisiana later today or tonight, although the chances of the system developing into a tropical depression are low. Regardless of development, heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected over the north-central Gulf through Fri, with erratic gusty winds and rough seas possible near convection. Otherwise, high pressure building over the northeastern Gulf this weekend will support gentle to moderate winds and seas across the rest of the basin. .THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 10 to 15 kt.
