Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...A stalling cold front extends from near
Apalachicola, Florida to the eastern Bay fo Campeche. Strong N
winds and rough seas follow this front, with gale conditions and
very rough seas offshore Veracruz. As the front weakens, winds
and seas will diminish into tonight. The front will begin to
move east again tonight, then gradually exit the basin by Tue
evening. Behind the front, high pressure will settle across the
northern Gulf Tue night through Thu to produce gentle breezes
and slight seas in all but the southeast Gulf, where moderate NW
swell will persist into early Wed. Looking ahead, another weak
cold front may move into the northern Gulf late Thu into Fri.

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to W to NW 10 to
15 kt after midnight. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms.
.TUE...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
.WED...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

building to 3 to 5 ft after midnight.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends along 20N E of 55W. N of the
boundary, fresh N to NE winds and large N swell prevail. This
swell will dominate through Wed. S of the boundary, a tight
pressure gradient is supporting fresh trades off the north coast
of Hispaniola and in the Windward Passage. Fresh to strong SW
winds are increasing offshore NE Florida in advance of a cold
front that is moving through the SE United States. This front
will move off the coast late tonight, then stall from Bermuda to
central Cuba by Wed. Strong NE winds and very rough seas will
expand S behind the front to around 28N, with the potential for
some gale conditions Wed or Wed night N and NE of the Bahamas.

S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.TUE...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.WED...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
