Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong to near-gale NE winds and rough seas will
continue to impact the southeast Gulf through Sun as strong high
pressure builds over the SE United States behind a cold front that
moved through the basin earlier this afternoon. Looking ahead,
winds and seas will diminish slightly early next week as the high
pressure weakens.

.TODAY...NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NE to E
swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NE to E
swell.

.SYNOPSIS...A mostly stationary front extending from just west
of Bermuda to central Cuba will move little today, then
dissipate Sat night into Sun. Fresh to strong NE winds and rough
seas will continue to affect the waters W of the front into early
next week when conditions will start to improve. Looking ahead,
winds and seas will diminish from the early to middle part of next
week across the region.
