Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front has moved into the NW Gulf this
morning and will race SE through the basin, exiting by Mon
evening. Strong to near gale-force N to NE winds and rough seas
can be expected behind the front. There is a potential for wind
gusts gusts to gale force winds for the NW Gulf beginning later
this morning and continuing through Mon morning. Conditions will
improve basin-wide by Tue evening.

.TODAY...S winds 5 kt, shifting to SW to W in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming NW 15 to 20 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
midnight.
.MON...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
.MON NIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft in NW swell.
.TUE...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NW to N
swell.
.TUE NIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate to fresh S to SW winds developing offshore
of NE Florida this morning will reach fresh to strong speeds
tonight into Mon ahead of a strong cold front that will push off
the SE U.S. tonight. The front will progress SE and reach from
Bermuda to E Cuba Tue afternoon. Strong to gale-force winds and
rough to very rough seas are expected behind the front Mon
afternoon into Tue night. Winds then will gradually diminish
through Wed.

.TODAY...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
midnight. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.MON...W winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and W 20 to 25 kt N of 27N.
Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers.
