...A LINE OF SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY AN EMBEDDED STORM WILL IMPACT
CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ AND CENTRAL SANTA CLARA COUNTIES UNTIL 645 PM
PST...

At 601 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers with an
embedded thunderstorm extends from near Seven Trees to over
Capitola, or extending from 5 miles east of Los Gatos to 6 miles
east of Santa Cruz, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  San Jose, Los Gatos, Capitola, Live Oak, Eureka Canyon Road, Uvas
  Canyon Park, Aptos, Soquel, Rio Del Mar, Opal Cliffs, Twin Lakes,
  Day Valley and Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
