This is a public information statement from the National Weather Service in Monterey, serving the San Francisco Bay Area. On January 30, 2025, the National Weather Service San Francisco/Monterey Bay Area, in coordination with the California- Nevada River Forecast Center (CNRFC), added stage forecasts for the Dry Creek near Healdsburg. This addition has come at the request of the City of Healdsburg. The forecasting location, Dry Creek near Mouth near Healdsburg (DRIC1), is just upstream of the confluence of the Russian River and Dry Creek. The river gage is maintained by the United States Geological Survey (USGS ID 11465350). Due to its location near the mouth of the Russian River, flow values are not computed at higher stage values. A 5-day forecast of water level only is now available for this location, by cooperation between the local NWS Forecast Office, the California-Nevada River Forecast Center. At this time there is no designated water level designated as Flood Stage. http://https://water.noaa.gov/gauges/DRIC1 http://www.cnrfc.noaa.gov/graphicalRVF.php?id=DRIC1 No probabilistic ensemble forecast is available at this location.
