...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.

* WHERE...The higher elevations and the Pacific side of San
  Francisco and the San Francisco Peninsula Coast.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could down trees, snap power lines, and
  result in property damage. Widespread power outages are possible.
  Travel could be extremely difficult and hazardous, especially for
  high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.

  the immediate coast and within higher terrain.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind gusts up to to 55 mph are expected along
  the coast and in the higher elevations. Gusts have the potential
  to exceed 60 mph in the region`s peaks.
