...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...The dry offshore wind pattern will continue the rest of this
afternoon with easterly winds, low humidity and warm afternoon temperatures.
For tonight winds will be light and then turn westerly but continue to be
light overnight.  However, the return of west winds will mean slightly
better humidity recovery tonight though still unseasonably dry with poor
to moderate humidity recovery tonight being the biggest fire weather concern.
On Sunday a return of light southwest winds will signal the end of offshore
winds, which means slightly higher humidity values Sunday afternoon though
still seasonably warm and dry with afternoon southwest winds. Look for
better humidity recovery Sunday night into Monday morning as the marine layer
returns with a seasonable weather pattern setting up for the first half of
next week.
