.DISCUSSION...Scattered showers continue over the San Francisco
Peninsula with fairly light rainfall totals up to a few tenths of
an inch expected through this evening. Friday into Saturday, more
widespread moderate rainfall will shift southward resulting in
accumulations between 1" to 2". There is some potential for
thunderstorms to develop Friday into Saturday but chances are low
(generally between 5-8%). Gusty southerly winds continue through
Friday with gusts up to 40 mph possible through Friday evening as
a second cold front approaches the region. Winds will ease during
the day on Saturday and showers are expected to become more
scattered in nature.
