.DISCUSSION...The marine layer has compressed to between 1000 to
1500 feet with good overnight humidity recoveries directly along
the coast and poor to fair recoveries above it. Daytime humidity
retention is good to excellent within the marine layer and
fair above it. Overcast, drizzly conditions improve along the coast
late this morning into the afternoon before stratus returns again
this evening. Northwesterly winds are expected to stay light and
onshore through the day with wind speeds peaking around 10 mph.
Winds remain light tonight but wind direction becomes more
variable with light offshore winds possible across the highest
elevations.

                    morning. Areas of smoke in the afternoon.
