...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Strong cold front with heavy rain will move through the South Bay
and Central Coast this evening with a clearing trend overnight. Dry
on Wednesday. Clouds and winds increase Thursday ahead of the next
weather system that will bring another round of rain Thursday night
into early Friday. Rain amounts with the late week system of around
one inch as this system will be colder with less of a moisture tap.
Drying trend over the weekend but temperatures remain seasonably
cool.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

An atmospheric river brings widespread rain and mixed precipitation
at higher elevations along with snow at lower elevations. The
focused deluge will continue southward with rain ongoing across most
 of the CWA.
