...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Gusty winds develop today and continue through the weekend. Most
locations can expect gusts of 20 to 35 mph with ridgetops, coastal
locations, and favored NW-SE oriented valleys and passes could
see gusts as high as 50 mph this afternoon. Winds are anticipated
to be mostly onshore through the event. However, winds will veer
towards northerly late Sunday night and early Monday morning,
promoting a drier airmass for far interior areas. Limited recovery
of about 40% and daytime minimum of 20-35% will lead to a period
of elevated fire weather concerns through Monday. Winds begin to
diminish late Monday.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Breezy northerly winds through Sunday. Chances for a few very
light showers or mostly light drizzle Saturday for the northern
portion of the forecast area, especially in Del Norte. A wetting
rain is not expected. Northwest winds strengthen Saturday through
Sunday behind the front, and gusts to 35 mph along the coast and
up to 40 mph in the southern inland areas are likely. Warmer
weather will return next week. A couple mostly dry fronts will
move through next week with light drizzle or some light possible
for the Far North Coast, particularly late next week.
