...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

A strong atmospheric river will continue to impact Northern
California through at least Friday, with prolonged periods of
moderate to heavy rainfall, mountain snow and moderate to strong
south winds as another strong storm approaches the area and swing
northeastward today. Low snow level in Trinity County as of
3500 feet are expected to continue rising throughout the day today.
There is a chance (10-20 percent) of isolated thunderstorms late
Friday night into Saturday. Active weather will continue through
the weekend and into next week.
