...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THREAT CONTINUES THROUGH MONDAY...

Hot and dry conditions continue through Monday, elevating the fire
weather threat. The threat is greatest in the interior mountains
above 1500 feet, where overnight humidity recoveries remain poor.
Breezy onshore winds will develop each afternoon and evening, with
gusts reaching 30-35 mph through gaps and passes, within favored
valleys, and across higher terrain. The pattern changes on Tuesday,
when the ridge breaks down and allows for a return to cooler
temperatures and coastal drizzle, but also maintains gusty afternoon
winds.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Hot and drier weather conditions are expected through Tuesday with
generally weak, terrain-driven wind with low mixing heights though
Tuesday. Interior highs peak in excess of 100 today and Monday.
Daytime RH is forecast to be in the teens and perhaps even the
single digits, especially in Trinity County. Marine influence will
be restricted to only the immediate coast. Dry weather will
continue next week, but with a gradual cooling trend and improved
RH recoveries by mid to late next week. On Thursday, an elevated
fire weather threat is possible with enhanced onshore winds and low
daytime RH in the teens and 20`s, especially in Lake County.
