Lingering showers will taper off Tuesday before stronger front begins moving in Tuesday evening. There will be widespread moderate rainfall, and heavy rainfall rates for Northern Humboldt and Del Norte. A very unstable airmass will develop Wednesday through Thursday with the arrival of a cold trough, and isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop. Some thunderstorms along the coastal waters and coastal regions are expected to be on the stronger side with the high instability, and SPC has outlined a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms on Wednesday. Farther south, Lake County is forecast to collect around 0.4 to 0.6 inch of additional rainfall Wednesday. Snow levels will drop down to 4000 feet Wednesday, and some mountain snowfall is expected, particularly in Northeast Trinity County. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-131030- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 222 PM PST Tue Nov 12 2024 Moist and chilly airmass in place through the forecast period.
