...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Slightly cooler to near seasonal temperatures will continue through
mid-week before a modest warming trend arrives late week. Northwest
winds will gust up to 45 mph Sunday and Monday near favored peaks
and passes in the East Bay and Salinas Valley. Otherwise, onshore
winds and the typical marine layer will keep the relative humidity
high in areas below 1,500 feet and moderate across higher
elevations and farther inland.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Chance for afternoon thunderstorms will continue through the
weekend. Winds will mostly remain terrain driven with modest
onshore westerly pushes each afternoon in exposed areas through
Saturday. Chances for isolated thunderstorms could occur on Saturday
in extreme NE Trinity, but chances are rather slim. Stronger onshore
wind is expected with a colder trough on Sunday. This trough will
also bring more of a chance for showers and thunderstorms to mainly
around the Trinity Horn on Sunday. This trough on Sunday will
likely induce stronger westerly to northwestly winds for our
typically dry and windy areas; Lake, interior Mendocino and eastern
Trinity.
