...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Warm and dry for the rest of this week. Gusty northwest winds
develop this weekend with gusts to 45-50 mph along the coast and
ridgetops. Winds veer to northerly late Sunday into Monday,
leading to a brief period of offshore flow in the North Bay. This
will result in lower morning recovery and afternoon humidities
Monday and elevated fire danger, especially inland North Bay.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

A drying and warming trend through Friday, but overnight RH
recoveries will remain high. Below normal temperatures are
expected through today, before back up to near to above normal on
Thursday. Breezy northwest winds are expected each afternoon, with
gusts from 20 to 30 mph along the coast and exposed ridges.
Potential for wetting rain return late Friday night into Saturday
for the northern portion of the forecast area, especially in Del
Norte. There is also a slight chance of thunderstorms for
northeastern Trinity County Saturday afternoon. Otherwise, mostly
dry weather conditions most likely persist over the weekend.
Northwest winds are expected to strengthen this weekend. Drier,
warmer weather will arrive early next week.
