Hot and dry conditions across the district persist as high pressure continues over the region. Breezy onshore winds develop each afternoon as sea breezes push. Little to no relief is expected overnight with warm morning lows and poor humidity recoveries in the thermal belts. Monsoonal moisture from the south brings a very low, but non-zero, chance for elevated convection Friday and Saturday, especially in the Central Coast. A gradual cooling trend begins the early part of next week as the ridge breaks down. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... Hot and very dry weather will continue to rapidly build today. Highs will peak around Friday with the hottest valleys reaching over 110 with exceptionally dry RH in the single digits. Overnight recoveries will also become increasingly poor at mid and upper elevations. Marine influence will shallow and become restricted to the coast. Similar hot and dry conditions will continue through the weekend. There is a very slight chance (5-10%) of dry thunderstorms over high interior terrain by Sunday, but chances for thunderstorms increase early next week. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-221015- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 304 PM PDT Thu Aug 21 2025 ...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THREAT CONTINUES THROUGH THE WEEKEND DUE TO HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS AND AFTERNOON WINDS...
