An upper low off the coast should deepen the marine layer to around 1500 feet overnight along with gustier onshore breezes pushing into the coastal valleys and gaps. Continued near or slightly below normal temperatures Wednesday through Friday and into the weekend with the only 90s forecast for the interior portions of the Central Coast. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening mainly for northeast Trinity County. Potential for new fire starts from ligthning strikes on dry fuels is forecast to increase on Wednesday over the Klamath Mountains. Strong outflow winds from storms may also result in rapid fire spread on existing fires. The risk for afternoon and evening thunderstorms for the Klamath Mountains is expected to continue on Thursday and Friday. Outside of isolated thunderstorms, winds are generally expected to be fairly light and terrain driven through Friday. Interior temperatures are generally expected to be around or slightly below seasonal normals with highs in the 80s to low 90s. Dry afternoon RHs in the 20s are possible in the eastern portions of the area, but good overnight recoveries are likely. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-300945- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 237 PM PDT Tue Jul 29 2025 An upper low off the coast should deepen the marine layer to around 1500 feet overnight along with gustier onshore breezes pushing into the coastal valleys and gaps.
