morning. Onshore winds will prevail with diurnally driven gusts to
25 to 35 mph within the Salinas Valley, within the San  Francisco
and Monterey Bays, and through favored gaps and passes. A slight
warming trend this weekend will bring temperatures closer to
seasonal averages.

This afternoon an upper low has the potential to  bring a few
thunderstorms to Trinity county and northeastern  Mendocino county.
These may also spread into northern Humboldt and Del Norte counties.
This will also bring slightly cooler  temperatures and higher RH. A
few showers or thunderstorms are  possible again on Thursday in
Trinity county as well. Warm and dry weather is expected to return
Friday and Saturday.
