***ELEVATED GRASS FIRE CONCERNS THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING***
.DISCUSSION...Elevated fire weather conditions persist through
Thursday evening across cured grasses in the interior Bay Area and
Central Coast. Widespread low relative humidities of 20-40%
continue through Thursday afternoon in the interior with locally
lower values down to 10% in the interior Central Coast. Moderate
to strong onshore winds persist through Thursday evening with
gusts up to 30-40 mph along the coast, within northwest-southeast
oriented gaps and valleys, and at the ridgelines. Conditions
improve tonight and Friday morning as a modest marine layer
returns, bringing cooler and moister conditions and excellent
overnight humidity recoveries across all but the highest terrain.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.
