...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THREAT CONTINUES THROUGH WEDNESDAY FOR
THE INTERIOR CENTRAL COAST...
.DISCUSSION...Most areas will experience the beginning of the
pattern change today, with the exception being the interior
portions of the Central Coast. This is where hot and dry
conditions will continue, with poor overnight recoveries expected.
The more widespread cooling trend begins Wednesday, which is when
we should start to see the marine layer deepening and coastal
drizzle during the late overnight and morning hours. Breezy
onshore winds are expected daily each afternoon and evening with
gusts reaching 30-35 mph through gaps and passes, within favored
valleys, and across higher terrain.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.
