...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THREAT CONTINUES THROUGH THE WEEKEND DUE
TO HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS AND AFTERNOON WINDS...
.DISCUSSION...Marine layer brought some relief to the coast and
inland valleys, but outside of the marine layer expect another
hot and dry day. Winds this afternoon will be breezy due to the
onshore push. Monsoonal moisture from the south continues to
present a very low, but non- zero, chance for elevated convection
through Saturday. High pressure begins to ease Sunday and early
next week kicking off a cooling and moistening trend next week.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.
